Loft conversions can vary dramatically subject to planning restraints and may include Dormers, Mansards, Hip to Gable Extensions and other variations of the above.
DORMERS
These give additional headroom for parts of the loft space, they can also help with the introduction of the staircase.
MANSARDS
These give a better use of the floor space but are subject to planning requirements.
ROOFLIGHT / VELUX™
These provide additional light in the slope of the roof, they are also a cheaper option to the Dormer and Mansard. There are some limitations for smaller lofts.
